Front Desk Receptionist Job Summary
We are a high-volume family and cosmetic dental practice looking for a highly motivated, energetic, dependable and hard-working receptionist to join our team. Applicant must have at least 1 year experience in the dental field and be available to work 4-5 days, full time (No Saturday or Sundays). Our ideal member must be professional and a team player with a great attitude and have ability to multitask. We are looking for someone who is a self-starter and will take the initiative to get the job done. Patient care is of the utmost importance to us. As a receptionist we expect exceptional phone etiquette and a friendly, welcoming personality. We treat all of our patients like family and while we are a high volume office, we love to get to know each and every one of our patients to make them feel at home. Job requirement includes, but are not limited to meet and greet patients, answering phones, collecting payments and verifying insurance.
Knowledge of Softdent practice management software and patient finance programs such as Care Credit and Lending Club is strongly preferred.
Front Desk Receptionist Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet guests as they arrive
- Answer phone calls and emails from clients
- Maintain calendars for the office and your coworkers
- File important documents and keep them well organized
- Perform any other clerical duties necessary to keep the office running
Front Desk Receptionist Requirements and Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience working in the dental field
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- Administrative experience
- Microsoft Office experience
- Strong communication skills
- Organizational abilities
- Data entry skills
- Knowledge of ADA/CDT codes is STRONGLY preferred
Bonus Points if you have:
- Knowledge of Softdent practice management software
- Experience with insurance billing
- Experience working in an office that focused on restorative, implant and cosmetic dentistry
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour
