Responsibilities Include
- The USCG Contracting & Procurement Modernization Program Integration Office (PIO) is part of the Buy Better Revolution.
- A USCG modernization initiative that will implement recommended changes for USCG contracting and procurement capabilities, while easing the administrative burden on mission support units.
- Responsible for implementing 20 modernization recommendations outlined in the C&P Modernization Blueprint.
- Communications efforts include executive updates, internal Coast Guard outreach and updates across the enterprise, and support of the overarching change management plan.
- Communications activities include (but are not limited to) stakeholder identification and management.
- Developing briefings and talking points, managing the project SharePoint site.
- Supporting communications efforts for active recommendation implementation teams, planning and managing road shows and all-hands briefings.
- Must have at least five (5) years of experience (or one and a Masters). Experience with management consulting or IT project management preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, engineering or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Preferred relevant experience in direct support of the Government Agencies
- Proficient in the following Microsoft applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Ability to conduct detailed research and analysis of technical data
- Ability to read and interpret acquisition policy, regulations, and directives
- Must be a self-starter with the ability to work effectively independently and in team settings to include close collaboration with program managers and client personnel.
- Proven ability to support multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously in a deadline driven process.
- Experience in building and managing client relationships.
- Ability to recognize new business development opportunities.
