As the Executive Director of Chase Sapphire Brand, Media and Advertising, you will lead a team responsible for the strategy and execution of all brand, media and advertising activities for Sapphire Reserve and Sapphire Preferred For brand strategy, this means building a roadmap across visual identity, photography, brand guidelines, etc., and collaborating cross-functionally to bring the dream to life. For media and advertising, this means creating a vision for game-changing creative and innovative media plans that will have measurable impact on the brand and business, and leading the internal and external teams to implement.
Job Responsibilities:
Create a vision for paid creative strategy across the complete consumer journey of brand-building, action-driving, and experiential objectives. Oversee and inspire a cross-functional team to execute on that vision.
Evolve paid media channel strategy to balance efficiency and impact across full-funnel channels, including innovation and channel expansion
Develop and lead Sapphire’s paid media learning agenda and measurement strategy that demonstrates ROI and continued growth
Define Sapphire’s branding roadmap, outlining a plan for brand evolution across visual system, photography, tone, etc. Oversee implementation across all marketing workstreams.
Oversee a large media budgets, finance approvals, and drive budget efficiencies
Drive visibility and excitement for the work with senior leadership and other key stakeholders across the firm
Facilitate strong working relationships and open collaboration across cross-functional team, proactively solving roadblocks and navigating through challenges collectively.
Be a strong, engaged leader to a team of three, focused on continued guidance and career development. Be a culture-carrier on the team, infusing positivity, energy, and passion.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
Bachelor's Degree required, Master’s preferred
10-12 years of relevant work experience
Background in brand marketing, advertising or media required
Be a self-starter, with proven ability to proactively translate high-level business objectives into break through brand, media and advertising strategies.
Collaborate effectively with diverse opinions across leadership and cross-functional teams (internal and external), while maintaining strong relationships and being a trusted team player
Communicate clearly and transparently across multiple teams and multiple levels in the organizations
