Job Summary:
As a Product Strategy & Transformation Associate in the Chief Administrative Office (CAO), you will play a key role in identifying & driving critical strategic initiatives that accelerate our adoption of a product operating model. You will partner with our teams to form & mobilize new products. You will shape & manage our product routines (e.g., quarterly product reviews), our product communities, and our Product Office infrastructure (e.g., our product catalogue, tooling, and related product architecture). Finally, you will serve as an important partner and coach to our technology, agility, and user experience partners as we define & implement new ways of working.
The Chief Administrative Office (CAO) is comprised of several global Corporate Services functions that support JPMorgan Chase's businesses and employees across 60 countries; the CAO’s Product Office has a broad mandate to define and deliver on CAO's strategy for the adoption of a product operating model.
Job responsibilities:
- Partner with Product Office Leadership to define & deliver critical transformation initiatives, such as defining & standing up new centralized capabilities.
- Lead interviews and working sessions with product managers, their teams, and other important stakeholders, synthesizing takeaways & developing recommendations that support product activation.
- Identify & implement new ways of working to improve how our product teams operate, considering internal & industry best practices.
- Plan, organize, and manage our organization’s product routines (e.g., product reviews), ensuring they remain fit-for-purpose & aligned to CAO’s objectives.
- Develop effective senior leadership presentations & briefings that provide appropriate levels of visibility into key developments & risks across the product development lifecycle.
- Partner with product, tech, and agility partners to drive critical priorities (e.g., implementation of the product catalog & architecture).
- Support development of organization’s product talent, providing effective coaching & support to partners at varying levels of seniority.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Bachelor’s degree with 2 years’ experience in strategy or internal consulting.
- Highly motivated self-starter with a demonstrated ability to independently execute & drive results.
- Distinctive conceptual problem-solving skills, especially in ambiguous settings.
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills, including planning, time management, & coordination of resources.
- Excellent intrapersonal skills with proven ability to work in & contribute to highly collaborative teams.
- Motivated by challenge and the opportunity to help an organization navigate meaningful change.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Knowledge of product management fundamentals.
- Experience working with Jira, Confluence, and other industry standard product management tools.
