What are the responsibilities and job description for the Applications Developer position at JR Automation?
As an Application Developer, you will develop new software applications and update/modify existing computer applications. In this role you will report to the Lead Software Developer and ensure custom software and integrations meet the needs of various business functions.
What You’ll Do:
- Design, develop, document, analyze, create, test or modify software application or programs, including prototypes, based on and related to user or system design specifications.
- Customize, build and design software applications to increase business productivity and functionality.
- Build and support reports such as Crystal Reports and Microsoft Reporting Services.
- Operate and maintain internal software applications currently used in production.
- Research and maintain new software application that address future business needs.
- Support Help Desk and Network Support tasks as needed.

What You’ll Bring:
- Associates degree or equivalent
- Microsoft Certified Professional and/or Comptia A Certification nice to have
- At least 2 years of related experience and/or training related to:
- ASP, VBScript, SQL Server, JavaScript,
- All Windows OS Platforms
- HTML, VB.NET, C#, MVC, WPF, MVVM, jQuery
