Field Foreman - Journeyman Glazier
Seeking talented and professional field foreman experienced in commercial glazing products and installation procedures of unitized curtain systems.
Position will be responsible to manage project field teams of 2-10 journeymen, apprentice and entry level staff. Projects located in the Dallas / Fort Worth area. All major tools and equipment provided, smaller power and hand tools of the trade expected to be supplied by the candidate.

Requirements – Technical & Physical:
· High School Diploma
· Valid DL and clean driving record.
· Familiarity with the National Glass Association standards and practices.
· 5 Years working on large and medium sized commercial construction projects, New and Renovation in the Glazing trade. Experience working in the carpentry trade Glazing trade is advantageous.
· Experience with and high comprehension of general construction documents such as “Architectural Drawings / Structural Drawings / Product Installation and Shop Drawings / Technical Specifications.”
· Layout skills including basic builders’ level and or laser operation, with clear understanding of horizontal and vertical control. Experience with a theodolite is advantageous.
· Experience with multiple manufactured framing systems, including unitized curtain systems.
· Experience with general glass types and the proper identification of commercial IGU’s, interior and specialty glass products.
· Able to work in basic “APPs and Software” from a remote device such as an I-Phone & Tablet. Basic knowledge of Microsoft office, Excel, and Bluebeam desired but training is available to enhance knowledge and skill level of each.
· Excellent hand-eye coordination.
· Ability to lift heavy objects, up to 75 lbs. regularly.
· Experience in the safe operation of mechanical equipment such as fork-lifts, telescoping man lifts, scissor lifts, swing stage, and larger power tools stationary or mobile.
· Experience working directly with owners or property managers on smaller service-related repairs and or retrofit projects.
· Experience in the removal and replacement of older systems.
· Experience with STICK framed systems by multiple national manufactures.
· Comfortable working at heights.
· Must be able to pass a drug test and criminal background check.

Compensation & Benefits:
· $30/hr and up depending on experience
