We are seeking an Office manager with Human Resources experience. To ensure success, candidates should exhibit strong decision-making skills with a deep understanding of business operations by maintaining office network systems, employee relationships, staffing management and training.

Responsibilities:

  • Acts as the face of HR in the local facilities - Responsible for fully expanding the HR department & implementing new policies
  • Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.
  • Engage in key HR competencies such as payroll, recruitment, benefit and leave administration, investigations, and personnel issues.
  • Assist with Health Insurance Open Enrollment and insurance renewal.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal and state employment law and compliance requirements.
  • Maintains office services by organizing office operations and procedures; controlling correspondence; designing filing systems; reviewing and approving supply requisitions and other clerical functions.
  • Oversees hospitality needs for the facility including employee gifts, organizing celebrations and catering services, conference room set up as well as keeping a sufficient office supply inventory.
  • Greet and assist onsite interviews and other visitors.
  • Assist with all internal and external HR related matters including recruiting, reference checks, orienting, training employees and updating records as well as assist in coaching, counseling, disciplining, planning, monitoring and appraising job results.
  • Work with management to create and update job descriptions.
  • Work with hiring managers to ensure resumes are being reviewed in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate hiring activities (schedules with applicant and managers, creating calendars by sending interview confirmations and cancellations, etc.)
  • Preserves employee confidence and protects operation by keeping HR information confidential.
  • Keep up to date with the latest HR trends and best practices.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree and at least two (2) years of human resources experience, or a similar combination of education and experience
  • Certified Human Resources specialist or Certified SHRM
  • Efficient in office and HR administration with strong people management skills
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft products including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, & Google suites
  • Experience with employment recruitment processes
  • Familiarity with office procedures and principles
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Works comfortably under pressure and meets tight deadlines.
  • Remarkable organizational and conflict management skills.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
