Industrial Maintenance Technician

Key Responsibilities:
- Achieve plant objectives in safety, quality, efficiency, and customer care.
- Perform preventative maintenance (PM) on a daily/weekly basis and manage projects to ensure optimal equipment functionality.
- Efficiently troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment to reduce downtime and enhance productivity.
- Maintain and repair equipment including electrical and mechanical systems.
- Support installation of new equipment as the facility expands.
What You’ll Need:
- Experience: 5 years in maintenance within a manufacturing environment, ideally in food, packaging, or other high-speed industries.
- Technical Expertise: Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, with a focus on electrical systems.
- Knowledge Areas: Experience in PLC troubleshooting, VFDs, electronics, hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, pumps, valves, belts, pulleys, gearboxes, conveyors, electrical wiring (120/240/480), AC/DC, control voltage, conduit installation, wire pulling, and 3-phase motors.
- Blueprints: Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Personal Attributes: Self-motivated, energetic, positive, punctual, hardworking, and a strong team player.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Industry Knowledge: Prior experience in the food or beverage manufacturing industry is highly preferred.
- Education/Certifications: AAS or equivalent technical training in a relevant field, or related maintenance certifications.
- PLC Proficiency: Ability to troubleshoot and program PLCs, with knowledge of ladder logic.
- Additional Skills: Experience with welding, pipefitting, boilers, or HVAC is an added advantage.
