Summary/Purpose
Provides financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data; preparing reports.
Essential Duties and Accountabilities:
Maintain, analyze and report department costs monthly
Lead discussions with the management team to communicate financial performance
Maintain the Fixed Asset database. Reconcile and report capital cost prior to capitalization
Conduct Fixed Asset physical inventories twice per year
Coordinate tool crib asset transition to the income statement
Maintain and reconcile cash disbursement accounts
Participate in monthly and yearly closing process including journal entry preparation
Report necessary cost data to support customer product line reporting
Participate in Business Plan and Revised Business Plan activities
Support and prepare current data transition to Oracle
Maintain Oracle data on an on-going basis as needed
Work daily overtime and Saturdays and/or Sundays when directed by immediate supervisor or, as necessary, to complete essential job duties.
Perform other duties as assigned

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Strong analytical, organizational and problem solving skills
Strong PC skills, including proficiency with Excel
General knowledge of financial statement relationships
Good communication skills, both verbal and written
Must be self-motivated, flexible, work well in a team environment, and have a strong determination to succeed
Must enjoy challenges and meet planned deadlines
Ability to work without close supervision
Basic knowledge of applicable quality, health, safety, and environmental management systems
The above may be waived by the department Manager and the Human Resources Manager if the candidate is otherwise qualified.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Business and 2 years of relevant accounting experience
Work Environment/Physical Demands:
Sit with intermittent walking
Manual dexterity for such duties as stapling, collating, sorting, filing, typing, and writing
Communicate (hearing and speech) with individuals in person and by phone
Visually read reports, computer screen, etc.
Maintain a minimum of 8 hours worked/day, 5 days/week
Employee may perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
