Essential Duties and Accountabilities:
- Maintain, analyze, and report department costs monthly
- Report Daily P &L information
- Participate in Physical Inventory twice per year
- Participate in monthly and yearly closing process including journal entry preparation
- Participate in Business Plan and Revised Business Plan activities
- Establish trusting working relationships (team player); involved in and understands other functional areas and their impact on financial results
- Along with the Plant Controller, act as a liaison between the plant and JNA finance group as needed to answer questions and resolve any issues
- Cooperation: The demonstrated ability to work with others and make a contribution to the team.
- Communication: The demonstrated ability to share knowledge, both oral and written, and be receptive of knowledge received from other team members.
- Coordination: The demonstrated awareness that coordination of effort of individual team members is essential to the team’s overall success.
- Organization Fit: Demonstrated generally positive attitude with regard to work. Also general interests, goals, and values consistent with the job. This includes receptivity to change in the workplace.
- Other duties as assigned by management
- This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills as well as detail oriented while working in a team environment
- Strong computer skills with high proficiency in MS Excel.
- General knowledge of financial statement relationships.
- Able to work with challenges and meet planned deadlines.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and organizational skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and / or equivalent relevant experience plus education
- Basic understanding of financial and accounting principles

- Work shift as assigned and overtime is required, as needed.
- Will be required to do the following throughout the shift: standing, bending, pushing, pulling, reaching above and below shoulders, moving left to right repetitively, grasping, and fine finger dexterity.
- May be required to lift during shift up to 40 lbs.
- Specific vision abilities required with this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- The performance of this position requires exposure to manufacturing areas which require the use of personal protective equipment such as steel toed shoes, safety glasses with side shields.
