What this position is about - Purpose:
JTI USA is presently seeking a District Sales Manager to become a member of our Sales team to help support the organization's overall strategy in the Phoenix District.
What will you do: Responsibilities
- Ensure that assigned Sales Representatives attain objectives regarding product sale, distribution, exposure, and maintain appropriate inventory levels while respecting retail arrangements and promotional budget allocations
- Provide field leadership training, development, and performance evaluation of Sales Representatives in their territory to increase productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness and identify candidates for possible advancements.
- Maintain consistent contact with distributors to ensure product availability and secure orders, strengthen and build customer relations and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Execute retail and wholesale promotional support activities to build brand awareness of our products to prospective customers/consumers
People Management
- Recruit, motivate and guide the team's professional development reporting directly and indirectly to the incumbent.
Who are we looking for: Requirements
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of direct sales-related managerial experience. Industry knowledge and FMCG organizational experience are preferred.
- Experience in selling to retailers, Wholesalers, and Distributors in the Consumer Products industry is preferred.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Prior experience with Sales Force Automation systems would be a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Self-starter with demonstrated strong work ethic.
