CONTRACT RECRUITER (Plant personnel General labor)
Louisville, KY (100% onsite)
Immediate need
Max pay rate: $28/hour
This person will be mainly recruiting candidates for general labor and plant personnel
The Human Resources Recruiter will work under the direction of the Human Resources Manager, providing both generalized and specialized staff assistance in a wide range and combination of activities. This position will provide administrative support, flow of department activities and general support to the plant team members.
The Role:
Your work will include, but not be limited to:
• Explain company personnel policies, benefits, and procedures to employees or job applicants.
• Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications
• Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job board/newspapers/colleges etc
• Source and recruit candidates by using databases, social media etc
• Screen candidates resumes and job applications
• Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates within schedule
• Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes
• Onboard new employees in order to become fully integrated
• Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices
• Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports to the rest of the team
• Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
• Promote company’s reputation as “best place to work”
• Other duties as assigned
Your Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree (Desired, not required) in Human Resources/Labor Relations or a related field
• At least 2 years of manufacturing recruiting
• Great communication and presentation skills
• Ability to interact with all levels of the business
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Ability to interact with all levels in the organization
• Effectively organize, set priorities, schedule assigned work; oversee multiple and rapidly changing priorities
• Effectively execute tasks
• High Energy with a People-Centered focus
