The Branch Manager works closely with their direct report teams to maintain relationships with key clients while building a branch safety and operating culture focused on continuous improvement. They are responsible for the financial performance of each service line within the branch as well as the management of all branch departments, personnel, budgets, and business plans.

Job Responsibilities:
The Branch Manager - Maintenance is expected to perform all the essential duties timely and accurately, in accordance with all applicable company policies, procedures, processes, and practices, and compliant with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. The essential duties below are not intended to be all-inclusive, but rather indicative of the duties normally associated with the job.
- Follow, promote, and enforce all labor laws, safety policies, practices, and procedures to ensure safe working conditions and behaviors are maintained. Assist with safety investigations and corrective actions related to safety hazards and/or incidents.
- Actively participate in the sales process alongside Client Relations Managers by engaging with prospective clients and overseeing the entire process from estimation to proposal delivery.
- Collaborate with all departments to enforce the implementation of company policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs) within the branch.
- Ensure that all contractual and non-contractual services are delivered with quality and sustainable gross profit margins.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key clients to ensure high customer satisfaction and overall job quality.
- Responsible for the security and safe operation of the facility while keeping it clean, neat and in a presentable condition.
- Represent Juniper at various events, organizations, and associations for the purpose of building relationships that lead to personal and professional development.
- Oversee purchases and inventory management to control and mitigate losses and allocations.
- Communicate, counsel, train, discipline, review and create personal action forms for direct and indirect employees.
- Utilize KPIs, FP&A Team and software systems to oversee branch finances, assets, gross margins, EBITDA, and provide accurate monthly forecasts.
- Lead efforts in recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new employees. Foster a culture of continuous learning by providing training and development opportunities to enhance team skills and performance.
- Effectively manage employee performance by clearly communicating expectations, providing regular and constructive feedback, and addressing both positive contributions and areas for improvement. Foster a culture of accountability and continuous growth.
- Promote a positive and inclusive work environment by actively recognizing achievements, addressing employee concerns promptly, and using approaches to maintain high levels of employee satisfaction and retention.
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in horticulture or similar field preferred.
- 5 years of landscaping or service industry experience required.
- 3 years of managing multi-million-dollar operations in a leadership role preferred.
- Must possess a valid US driver’s license (or equivalent) and meet Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) verification requirements.
- Strong business and financial acumen.
- Possess or obtain a Certified Pest Control Operator license.
- Green Industries Best Management Practices (GI-BMP) and Limited Urban Commercial Fertilizer Applicator (LF) Certification required within the first 30 days of holding the position required.
- Possess or obtain a CPCO (Certified Pest Control Operator) license.
- Experience in Aspire Landscape Operating System preferred.
- Proficient in software products such as Microsoft Suite and Adobe Creative Cloud
