ACCOUNTS PAYABLE MANAGER:

Each day, Jushi team members continue to grow, cultivate, process and manufacture a comprehensive suite of cannabis brands under the names: The Bank, The Lab, Tasteology, Nira Medicinals and Sèche, which are addressing a wide variety of consumer and patient needs across multiple states.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Oversee maintenance of vendor master accounts, including communicating with new vendors to set up account information, and supervise vendor communications
- Anticipate weekly payment cycle and treasury needs and communicate to proper personnel
- Manage vendor payment requirements and ensure timely processing of payables
- Enforce Travel and Expense policy by way of expense submission, review, and reimbursement
- Review reconciled purchases made on credit cards and purchasing cards
- Prepare 1099s
- Reconcile intercompany accounts and various other balance sheet accounts
- Participate in the integration of new accounting software and ongoing accounting automation
- Proactively communicate to internal customers
- Assist in other business office functions, audit, acquisition integrations, and other projects, as assigned
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- 7 years of progressive experience in payables
- Broad knowledge of payables, purchasing, intercompany, general ledger, and 1099 processes and procedures
- Strong planning and problem-solving skills
- Interpersonal and communication experience and experience building relationships at all levels of the organization
- Experience working with start-ups
