JustinBradley's client, a multinational mass media and entertainment company, is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to join their Interactive Team. The coordinator will work under the Interactive Creative Director to help shepherd and manage current active live-games and current/future games in development. Candidates are expected to have a solid understanding of technical responsibilities involved in game development along with a familiarity of comics, superheroes, and the interactive medium.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Ability to review lines, scripts, story breakdowns, and visual assets to determine whether the material and characters with the brand guidelines and consistent with the depiction of said characters
- Keep up with Comics and current developments in Publishing for prospective integration of character costumes, new characters, and stories
- Pull copies of books and art from digital and physical archives and other internal repositories when needed or not available in print
- Work with internal departments gathering and delivering character bios, key art, and style guides to project partners
- Pull art for the Interactive department and research reference materials such as images, books, and stories for projects in development
- Tracks down compiles and maintains a variety of research files and materials for all Creative Affairs projects
- Ability to pull down, install, and troubleshoot game builds when needed
- Ability to test game builds and provide brand feedback and overall discernment of quality of the game in relationship to how the brand is integrated
- Assist in verifying marketing materials are consistent and representative of game projects in production
- Assist in the creation of portfolio books, decks, etc.
- Submits and tracks all Creative Affairs hardware/software/access/telecom requests
- Calls lot drive-Ons for guest access and internal members for company buildings
- Adds & maintaining assets on the digital asset network drives
- Handle travel and expenses for Interactive Creative Director
- Perform general administrative and creative duties as assigned
Skills / Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not necessary
- 1-3 years’ experience in game industry- familiar with game testing
- Proficient in project management
- Technology requirements- Confluence, Microsoft Office Suite, Jira, Trello, Photoshop
