JOB PURPOSE

JVM is hiring a Licensed Clinical Social Worker to perform a full range of professional nursing concepts and practices on site, using government furnished facilities, equipment and supplies to a variety of patients.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

• Participate in the Health Services Quality Improvement Program.
• Prepare and submit appropriate documentation as specified in applicable regulations.
• Work with a team on the composition of technical directives to aid in quality improvement initiatives.
• Provide instruction to clinic staff and/or patients on an ad hoc basis.

QUALIFICATIONS

The provider of nursing services shall possess and maintain current licensure for the duration of this agreement:

• A diploma/degree from an accredited school of Nursing. (Registered Nurse at a minimum);
• A current unrestricted active license to practice as a Registered Nurse from one of the 50 states, District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U. S. Virgin Islands.
• Current Malpractice insurance in the amount of not less than one million ($1,000,000.00) dollars per occurrence.
• Maintain current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) for the Health Care Provider by the American Heart Association (AHA), American Red Cross (ARC), American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI), or the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP).
• A minimum of two (2) years of recent (immediately preceding the submission of this offer) professional experience in the field.
• Documented Quality Improvement/Quality Assurance experience in the medical field.
• "No adverse information on file" with the National Practitioners Data Band (NPDB).

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Must pass criminal background check.
