SOUTHERN TERRITORY SALES MANAGER

K&H Truckweld is a complete manufacturing and installation facility that specializes in the manufacturing of dump bodies and related equipment for trucks operating in the vocational and construction industries. Focused on the highest level of quality in all the products engineered and manufactured “in house,” K&H also provides a state-of-the-art installation and service facility with the capabilities to support these markets.
K&H Truckweld is searching for a Southern Territory Sales Manager. Territory to include the DFW area, the I-35 corridor southward to San Antonio and the Greater Houston area. Future territory expansion plans include West Texas, plus Louisiana, New Mexico and Arizona. The position will be based in our Saginaw, Texas, office, but consideration will be given to qualified candidates working remotely from outside the DFW Metroplex (but must be within driving distance to Saginaw to attend in-office sales meetings as necessary). The successful candidate will be responsible for developing sales proposals, managing customer accounts, and providing exceptional customer service on behalf of K&H Truckweld.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sales Proposal Creation, Account Management, Customer Liaison, and Support for Regional Sales Managers in our Affiliated Companies (including travel as necessary)
EDUCATION/COMPETENCIES/EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s Degree from Accredited College or University or equivalent experience preferred, but not required
- A minimum of (3) years’ experience with commercial vehicle or automotive manufacturing
- A minimum of (3) years’ experience working as an inside sales account manager or sales engineer position
- Experience with quoting vehicle upfits is preferred
- Proficient at Microsoft Excel and competent use of other Microsoft Office products
- Aptitude to learn other computer software necessary to perform job functions
- Be technically conversant with truck terminology
- Able to handle many conversations daily with customers, the OEM, dealers, vendors, and our internal production staff
