What are the responsibilities and job description for the Delivery Driver position at K&M Delivery Inc.?
K&M Delivery Inc is a contractor for FedEx Ground. We are looking for several Delivery Drivers to deliver packages promptly to our customers. You will represent FedEx Ground in a professional and cost-effective manner to increase our profitability and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Deliver packages to different addresses on an assigned route
- Follow routes and time schedule
- Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle
- Follow DOT regulations and safety standards set by FedEx Ground
FEDEX GROUND REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum age of 21
- High school Diploma / GED preferred
- Must have valid Drivers License
- Must have a clean driving record
- Must pass a drug screen
- Must pass a full background check (WORK / CRIMINAL)
- Must pass a DOT physical
- Must be able to lift up to 150lbs and use a dolly to assist
- Must have at least 1 year in the last 3 years of verifiable work driving experience (any job where you received a paycheck for driving)
- CDL NOT required
- Flexible schedule is a must
