Job Description
Proficiency in operating an OpenStack cloud via Horizon and/or CLI.
Senior level Linux OS proficiency in the flavors that the enterprise provides; knowing RHEL & SUSE Linux.
Strong knowledge of network security standards and their implementation in compliance to corporate security policies.
Experience on neutron for building multi-tier web application topology and build advanced network services that plug into OpenStack.
Experience on standard interfaces, virtualized data path, Scalability & Transparency on SDS and Automation on Software-defined storage
Experience and good understanding of NFV, SDN Controller and vRouter
Installing, configuring and testing the OpenStack keystone, glance, cinder, swift, nova, ceph and Neutron, trove, mistral, designate using FUEL GUI and CLI, including the RedHat KVM hypervisor, QEMU and Dell Hardware Troubleshooting, Firmware Upgrades.
Knowledge and experience in designing, configuring, implementing, troubleshooting and supporting security solutions on multi-site critical network environments.
Understand the inner workings of OpenStack and Kubernetes so they can be expanded specifically for our network’s usage.
Understand deployment of network resources using Ansible / Puppet. You must be comfortable writing scripts from scratch as well as expanding/modifying existing scripts.
Develop, automate and manage patching procedures for underlying OSes, tools and OpenStack components.
Strong practical Linux administrations skills in a Cloud or Virtualized environment
Experience with security protocols (Kerberos, SRP, NTLM, OAuth2/Open ID Connect, SAML) and distributed systems protocols (AMQP, LDAP, RPC, DNS)
Knowledge on storage protocols such as iSCSI, Fibre Channel, networking concepts such as TCP/IP, routes and experience to configure L2/L3 Switches.
Experience in working on source controller tools like GitHub (GIT), Subversion.
Knowledge on puppet/Ansible in configuration management or other tools.
Full life-cycle experience (design through delivery and support), Developing and improving CI/CD standards, practices and procedures.
Understanding of change management and requests processes and ability to execute such

Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or six or more years of relevant work experience.
7 years of experience and background in maintaining Large Enterprise Infrastructure.
7 years of experience on Virtual environment / cloud or same level of work environment.
Certification on OpenStack Administrator (COA) is a preferred.
IT certifications such as RHCE, RHCA, RHCSA added advantage.
