Finance

The Role

You will be responsible for building and supporting the Finance function as we launch into the next phase of our hyper-growth. This role will partner directly with the co-founders and leadership team to support the day-to-day finance operations, and ensure successful operational decisions and strategic growth. Championing an analytical and data-driven mindset, you will implement robust financial infrastructure and strategies to support our high-velocity company.

Responsibilities

• Build and own the financial strategy for planning and budgeting, capital requirements, business insights, risk, reporting, and controls

• Develop and implement effective strategies to improve financial performance across all areas of the company

• Deliver monthly/quarterly/annual financial reporting (including annual audits)

• Create and deliver detailed operating budgets, modeling, and forecasts

• Oversee financial compliance with all accounting / tax / regulatory requirements

• Manage relationships and communication of key financial aspects with investors, internal stakeholders, and external stakeholders including commercial partners and vendors

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field

• 6 years of finance experience, preferably in a fast-paced startup environment

• Strong experience in organizations with high-level regulations and compliance

• Excellent knowledge of Excel with ability to create efficient, clean, complex financial models

• Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities, and extensive experience with financial planning, forecasting, modeling, and data analysis

• Deep understanding of US GAAP (CPA, CFA and/or MBA is preferred, but not mandatory)

Nice to Have

• Space industry or aerospace experience

• Proven track record of managing, mentoring, and growing a Finance team

Compensation and Benefits:

• Base salary range for this role is $170,000 - $200,000 and equity in the company

• Salary will be based on several factors including, but not limited to: knowledge and skills, education, and experience level
