Description: Description: This position is responsible for the management of all janitorial and grounds maintenance contracts as well as the promotion and recruitment of new work for the department. We are seeking a professional experienced in fulfilling contracts, coordinating work crews, and knowledgeable in the use and maintenance of equipment, scheduling and training.
Principal Duties.

A. Responsible for supervising the janitorial and grounds departments for Ka Lima O Maui, a nonprofit organization that works with adults with disabilities in a variety of commercials contacts on Maui..
B. Responsible for scheduling of the various contracts including periodic work (buffing, waxing etc.).
C. Oversee purchasing, inventory, maintenance and training in the use of all equipment, tools and supplies.
D. Also responsible for the recruiting and training of the janitorial and grounds department staff.,
E. Work closely with the Job Program Coordinator.
F. Maintain accurate and updated records
G. Responsible for new Base Yard and facility - we have just moved into a new facility that includes high quality equipment and a machine shop for repair and maintenance of our equipment and vehicles.
H. Other duties as required by the Executive Director or designated staff
B. Responsible for scheduling of the various contracts including periodic work such as pressure washing, buffing, waxing etc.
D. Oversee purchasing of supplies, equipment, and vehicles
E. Responsible for monitoring the maintenance of the equipment and vehicles
F. Responsible for the recruiting of the janitorial and grounds department staff
G. Work closely with the Job Program Coordinator on transfers and incoming new clients
H. Administer annual evaluations on direct supervisors
I. Oversee accurate and updated records on clients
K. Maintain an inventory list of equipment and vehicles
L. Solicit new grounds and custodial contracts by promoting the agency's services
M. Prepare bids and estimates with the help of supervisors and Director
N. Responsible for building, office maintenance and coordination of repairs
O. Other duties as required by the Executive Director or designated staff
P. Participate and support agency's activities and work required to meet agency's goals and objectives
Q. Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulation
