About the Role
You will be responsible for developing and executing growth strategies across a variety of digital and non-digital acquisition channels
You will work closely with our VP Product to optimize our onboarding and activation funnel performance and drive product-led and retention growth from our existing users.
To start with you will have a small team reporting to you and you, in turn, will report directly to our CEO. You will be responsible for growing this team as Kadence grows.

About You
You have strong experience in managing demand generation. From customer acquisition to performance marketing. This includes deep expertise across paid media, social, SEO, affiliate, growth product, referral, and retention marketing.
You love measuring, and achieving, success. You’ll drive KPIs, from demo requests through our go-to-market funnel to becoming a customer. You’ll deeply understand our user journey, identify areas of opportunity to create growth, and run experiments to constantly improve prospect experience.
You have a passion for metrics and will rigorously track and optimize all steps in the funnel, identifying bottlenecks and increasing automation.
You are resourceful. You love finding ways to operate quickly. You excel at finding rapid, lean ways to test exciting new ideas. You get energy from seeing successful results.
You’re a doer. You’ll identify, prioritize and execute programs to help grow our top of the funnel. You will own the end-to-end execution of campaigns, including implementation, optimization, reporting, and analysis. You’ll work with our Revenue Operations team to ensure we use data to our best abilities.
You’re a builder. We’re looking for a strong individual contributor to build Kadence's growth strategy from the ground up. As we scale you will have opportunities to grow a team around this role.
Responsibilities:
- Work with Sales, Product and Senior Management to develop and execute on the company’s growth strategy for all stages in the funnel.
- Oversee all online marketing efforts (SEM/SEO, social media, email, blogs, ads, traditional media) and offline marketing efforts (hosting events, word of mouth, etc.)
- Maximize the effectiveness of user discovery and our onboarding experience.
- Work with the Sales team to track conversion rates and measure progress against goals, constantly looking to eliminate bottlenecks, improve processes, and introduce creative ideas and solutions that are quickly tested and evaluated.
- Optimize cross-channel acquisition efforts to drive demand and maximize ROI.
- Provide customer insight to the Product team by blending data with a deep understanding of user needs, habits, and perceptions developed through targeted interviews, usability studies, and customer feedback.
- Identify user personas and translate our product and outcomes into external messaging and communications.
- Leadership over all marketing automation, attribution analytics, and CRM systems to capture detailed and timely data at all user/customer touch-points.
- Drive and communicate strategy and results to the leadership team on a consistent basis.
Requirements
