Senior Coder - Coding at Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland, WA
Under the general direction of the Manager, Coding, performs functions that involve assignment of ICD-9-CM/ICD-10-CM/PCS and CPT-4 codes; Abstracts established data from each case and determines accuracy and completeness of the Inpatient Record; Utilizes the 3M Coding Reimbursement/Epic System and Computer Assisted Coding to compile data and related work assigned; and Audits provider documentation and charging processes via report to the Coding Manager and/or assigned provider.
This posting is for multiple openings of Senior Coder at Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland, WA. We are hiring for full-time, remote/work from home opportunities.
Shift Details: Full Time, Day Shift, Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week

Required Qualifications:
Three (3) years of coding experience in a clinical setting
National Certification from American Academy of Professional Coders or National Certified Coding Associate - American Health Information Management Association or National Certified Coding Specialist - American Health Information Management Association or National Certified Coding Specialist - Physician - American Health Information Management Association or National Certified Documentation Improvement Practitioner - American Health Information Management Association or National Certified Health Data Analyst - American Health Information Management Association or National Registered Health Information Administrator - American Health Information Management Association or National Registered Health Information Technician - American Health Information Management Association
Preferred Qualifications:
- College level courses leading to accreditation with American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) or American Academy of Professional Coders
