KaffeeHouse cooperates with 518 Craft. There are options to bar tend after 4PM in the same location but for a different company. This provides more flexibility for you and cuts down on commuting.

Barista

Duties:

- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, such as coffee, tea, and smoothies
- Prepare and serve a variety of handheld snacks such as pastries
- Assist with food preparation, such as baking pastries or preparing handheld snacks
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee equipment
- Operate convection oven and restock refrigerators as well as disposables.
- Prepare and present beverages and foods according to established recipes and quality standards
- Take customer orders and provide exceptional customer service
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow health and safety guidelines for food handling and preparation
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations

Requirements:

- Previous experience in a similar role preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly manner
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
- Knowledge of food service or retail math is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Ability to effectively interact with customers and team members
- Availability to work between 8 AM to 4PM Monday through Friday
- Availability to work between 8 AM to 4PM Saturday through Sunday
-We plan to have a weekend rotation, to allow for time off on weekends
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 10 pounds

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
