Responsibilities:
- Prepare sushi dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure the quality and freshness of ingredients used in sushi preparation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi station
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new sushi creations
- Provide excellent service by addressing any concerns or special requests
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or similar role in the food industry
- In-depth knowledge of sushi preparation techniques and presentation
- Proficient knife skills for precise cutting and slicing of ingredients
- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
