Convention Center Set up Supervisor

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions has the tradition of having some of the most dynamic banquet teams in the business! TheBanquet Set-up Supervisorposition is responsible for inspecting and assisting in the proper set-up and takedown of event props and equipment in a timely and efficient manner. Ensure our set-up team anticipates guest needs while creating a flawlessly executed and memorable event.

A Day in the Life:

• We promise to deliver products and services beyond expectations
• Ensure equipment and prop set-up is completed in an organized and safe manner
• Inspect the preparation and set-up of meeting and banquet function and checking them against the banquet event orders; supervise and assist in takedown following the function
• Complete all set-up in a timely fashion and meet all deadlines
• Act as a liaison between the catering manager and the group contact

Previous Experience Preferred:

• 1 year of supervisory or management experience in food service or the hospitality industry in a convention center or large hotel (over 500 room property) is preferred.
• Prior experience as a server and set-up houseperson is required.
