- Facilitate and develop regional, county, district and building professional learning sessions working with teachers and staff in teams or individually to increase and refine their knowledge and skills on evidence-based instructional practice to support system improvement
- Ability to conduct and implement district/building instructional and non-instructional audits using data-based assessments to develop recommendations for improvement
- Provide consulting and coaching related to developing and strengthening academic and non-academic schoolwide systems
- Provide support to districts/schools in implementing programs/practices including, but not limited to, PBIS, SEL, culturally responsive practices, trauma-informed care, etc., while identifying/embedding schoolwide strategies to cultivate a positive culture and climate
- Provide expertise in the alignment of curriculum, assessment, and instruction to support effective instructional practice and continuous improvement
- Provide leadership and expertise to local schools and districts in the continuous improvement and evaluation process in coordination with the planning and development of state & federal programming
- Assist districts and schools in identifying their data-based needs to improve student achievement and inform their District/School Improvement Plan
- Coordinate efforts to support districts/schools in continuous improvement
- Assist districts/schools in engaging in the Assess Needs process to determine achievement and opportunity gaps hindering student growth and achievement
- Work with district/school teams to determine challenges to systems implementation & student achievement gains
- Promote and facilitate the use of data for decision-making at the classroom, building, and district-level
- Provide training, consultation, and supports to local school & district personnel to facilitate the implementation of a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS)
- Work collaboratively with content areas consultants and the overall educational system to eliminate barriers to the continuous improvement process & promote systems that increase student growth and achievement

- Master’s Degree
- Instructional Leadership experience
- Michigan Teacher Certification
- Minimum 5 years combined K-12 teaching experience
- Minimum 3 years of administrative experience
- ISD and/or district-level coaching experience
- Direct involvement in continuous improvement planning, implementing, measuring, and tracking results with demonstrated positive results
- Demonstrate skill and experience in State and Federal programs
- Demonstrate consultation, training, group facilitation skills
- Ability to integrate technology into professional activities
