Overview:
The HR Operations Shared Services Representative provides high quality, accurate employee life cycle administrative/transactional processes across all U.S. Kaman locations. Serves as first point of contact for employees with general employment related questions. Obtains and provides requested information by taking appropriate action to resolve, refer, or escalate issues in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provides efficient, standardized human resource services spanning payroll coordination, general HR administration/transactions related to the employee lifecycle processes, and other HR service transactions.
- Respond to written and oral inquiries from employees, managers, retirees and HR Business Partners regarding HR administrative questions, problems, and status changes.
- Resolve cases in a professional, sensitive and customer-focused manner in accordance with service level agreements.
- Escalate complex cases (in accordance with and as defined by HR Shared Services (HRSS) processes) to HRSS management and Tier II resources with appropriate and complete documentation on work performed to date.
- Interface with internal and external resources to furnish or obtain needed information to close cases not escalated.
- Refer employees, managers, retirees, and HR Business Partners to HR self-service technology, outside vendors, or other resources as appropriate.
- Produces accurate HR data, reporting and management information as requested.
- Supports the coordination of HR services with HR Business Partners and HRIS teams.
- Follow Shared Services procedures with attention to detail while maintaining high degree of confidentiality.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent
Experience:
- 6 months of relevant work experience
Preferred:
- Fully Bilingual (Spanish/English)
- Experience working under the applicable employment and other regulations governing Human Resources policies, procedures and practices.
- Ceridian Dayforce experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills for effective communications with all business contacts.
- Ability to communicate effectively, concisely and logically in a timely manner and at an appropriate level, while maintaining confidentiality in both written and verbal forms.
