We are looking for an experienced Project Designer who brings the ability to prepare architectural drawings for existing or new construction.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Problem-solving for construction-related details, streamlining of construction methods, new product applications, and general code compliance
  • Meet with Sales and Design Specialists, clients, or others, as needed, to determine design requirements
  • Assist with problems arising during the course of construction that may require additional design or interpretation of specifications or plans
  • Provide copies of final construction plans for contract signing and copies of final construction plans for field staff
  • Ensure that the contract specifications and construction plans provide the same information
  • Assist the Estimator by creating takeoffs and material lists from the plans
  • Take topographical measurements on job sites as needed and incorporate into the design
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Must be highly proficient in a home design software
  • Ability to read topographic maps and incorporate in design
  • Creative ability including developing construction documents and material quantity estimates
  • Microsoft Office suite knowledge Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to read and comprehend blue prints and other construction documents
  • Eagerness and willingness to learn and work hard
  • High standard of integrity and professionalism
  • Drug-free at all times
  • Clean Driving Record (DMV Record)

Our history

Kaminski Construction was born in 2008 at the beginning of the Great Recession. We landed our first job and began to grow, as other construction companies were laying workers off. We have continued to grow and expand our services and now field a crew of about 28 full-time employees.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $43,228.00 - $113,556.00 per year

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
