Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative Mechanical Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with SolidWorks and a background in mechanical design. This role is critical to our continued growth and success as we develop and refine our products.

In this role you will have these responsibilities:

• Developing detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using SolidWorks.
• Working closely with Sales to create exciting new product presentations for potential customers.
• Participate in the new product development process.
• Collaborating with the engineering and production teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.
• Conducting simulations and analysis to verify design integrity and performance.
• Assisting in the prototyping and testing phases of product development.
• Staying up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in SolidWorks and mechanical design techniques.

Requirements

  Qualified candidates for this opportunity will have the following skills and experience:

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Designer with proficiency in SolidWorks.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field preferred. Previous experience is taken into consideration.
• 2 years of experience in mechanical design using SolidWorks.
• Ability to create new product drawings and modify existing prints. 
• Previous experience in the new product development lifecycle.

Salary : $55,000 - $75,000
