We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced hospitality environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their orders promptly and efficiently, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. Duties
- Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner.
- Ensure that all orders are accurate and meet quality standards before serving.
- Assist servers by providing support in delivering dishes and clearing tables as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area, including bussing tables and resetting them for new guests.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding order status and any special requests from guests.
- Adhere to all food safety and handling guidelines to ensure a safe dining experience for all patrons.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance the overall guest experience through excellent service.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or other point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of food preparation, culinary practices, and kitchen operations is beneficial.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment.
- Ability to handle food safely and maintain cleanliness standards in accordance with health regulations.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
