Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and Sanitizing:
- Regularly clean all kitchen surfaces, including countertops, sinks, stovetops, and appliances, using appropriate cleaning agents.
- Ensure that all kitchen equipment and utensils are thoroughly sanitized according to health and safety standards.
- Monitor and maintain cleanliness of floors, walls, and storage areas to uphold hygiene regulations.
- Dishwashing:
- Wash dishes and utensils promptly and efficiently using dishwashers or by hand as necessary.
- Stack and store clean dishes properly, ensuring they are easily accessible to kitchen staff.
- Assist in the unloading and storing of deliveries, including checking items for quality and quantity.
- Waste Management:
- Dispose of kitchen waste and recyclables in designated containers, adhering to waste management guidelines.
- Monitor waste levels and ensure bins are emptied regularly to prevent overflow and maintain cleanliness.
- Assistance with Kitchen Operations:
- Support kitchen staff as needed with basic food preparation tasks.
