Summary:
Kapur is looking to add a Recruiting Assistant to our team! This individual will play a crucial role in attracting and hiring top talent for our organization. The primary focus of this role will be attending career fairs, establishing relationships with schools, developing internship programs, and coordinating hiring needs with department managers. Advancement opportunities may involve taking on additional HR-related tasks or recruiting responsibilities over time.
Responsibilities:
Primary:
Attend Career Fairs:
- Represent Kapur & Associates at various career fairs and networking events.
- Engage with potential candidates, promoting the company and available opportunities.
Establish School Connections:
- Build and maintain relationships with educational institutions to create a pipeline of qualified candidates.
- Collaborate with schools to organize recruitment events and activities.
- Schedule Kapur for career fairs
Internship Program Development:
- Create and develop an internship program to attract and cultivate emerging talent.
- Coordinate intern recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing support.
Coordinate Hiring Needs:
- Work closely with department managers to understand hiring priorities and the number of hires needed.
- Collaborate on recruitment strategies and organizational goals.
Career Fair Items:
- Organize and manage materials needed for career fairs, including brochures, promotional items, and displays.
Secondary:
Maintain Job Postings:
- Manage and update job postings on various platforms to attract a diverse pool of candidates.
- Maintain accuracy and consistency in job descriptions.
Conduct Phone Interviews:
- Screen potential candidates through phone interviews to assess their qualifications and fit for the organization.
Onboarding Assistance:
- Assist in the onboarding process for new hires, providing support and guidance.
- Develop and refine onboarding procedures to enhance the employee experience.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1 years of experience in recruiting or a related HR role.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of organizational skills.
- Microsoft Outlook, Excel of GoogleSheets
