<5% travel from TBMNC to other sites
Occasional (<2/yr) business trips to Japan may be necessary to go-and-see equipment prior to shipping.
First team trip to Japan is tentatively February 5, though attendance may not be required for this specific trip
Occasional <5% travel within US and Japan on as-need basis.
Ability to work overtime during weekdays and weekends on as-need basis.
Construction Coordinator to support TBMNC Battery PE projects

Additionally, this position requires timely and persistent in-person presence at the construction site for coordination, monitoring, and meetings. Extended periods of walking and standing throughout the workday are necessary.
Important Note: If a Dispatch is required, the Manager would only consider someone who has prior 5 years Our Client experience as a Construction Coordinator/Manager. The Bill Rate would be different for the one who is requesting dispatch. So, please send me submission details mentioning clearly. The Maximum the Manager can go up to for a dispatch required candidate is *** and not more than that. Again, please mention in the subject line clearly if you are submitting a dispatch candidate.
However, the preference is for local candidates.

General Description:
Responsible for managing general contractors and subcontractors, testing agencies, budgets and schedules on specific buildings in support and coordination of overall plant construction project completion. Administer construction contracts; conduct on-site inspection to monitor plan compliance. Direct activities of contractors and subcontractors to support project schedule in compliance with plans and specifications. Research, plan, and administer building projects, applying knowledge of design, construction procedures, and building materials. Present status reports to owner. Receive, review and coordinate contract changes into project delivery. Be intimately and completely knowledgeable of current and future activities in area(s) of responsibility and be able to implement countermeasures to support project schedule.

Requirements:
Detailed Description of Responsibilities:
1. Implement building construction projects to support site.
2. Coordinates construction scheduling and communication.
3. Manage daily construction and RFI support for construction projects.
4. Coordinate communications between owner, contractor and A/E firm
5. May be responsible for estimates, schedules, materials and purchase orders.
6. Supervises construction activity in the field.
7. Coordinate weekend/shutdown work plans with contractors, facilities, NAMC shops, PC, and PE.
8. Work with vendors and contractors to coordinate equipment delivery, installation, and scheduling.
9. Have knowledge of general building construction methods.
10. Develop project status reports for management review
11. Monitor equipment installation methods for confirmation that installation meets specifications and drawings.
12. Coordinator RFIs and CCRs
13. Author scope of work and bid packages for equipment installation.
14. Take proactive measures to ensure a safe job site.
15. Monitor and promote compliance with Our Client safety rules and procedures at the job site; correct and report issues/incidents in a timely manner.
16. Additionally, this position requires timely and persistent in-person presence at the construction site for coordination, monitoring, and meetings. Extended periods of walking and standing throughout the workday are necessary
Required Qualifications:
1. Level of experience 10-15 years
2. 10 years of experience in industrial construction projects, with emphasis on building construction (greenfield or brownfield)
3.Strong technical knowledge of construction means and methods
4.Proficient drawing review and field application abilities
5. OSHA 30 and 510 certification
6. Ability to properly manage a construction schedule on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
7. Ability to stand, stoop, and walk throughout a large industrial manufacturing plant for many hours of the day.
8. Ability to ascend & descend stairs to roof or equipment rooms throughout a large industrial manufacturing plant.
9. Competent with Microsoft Office: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook
10. Strong organization and communication skills.
11. 5 years of Our Client construction management experience to be eligible for dispatch.

Additional Desired Qualifications:
1. Associates degree in construction management
2. Software experience: AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project
3. Automotive building experience including underground utilities, earthwork, civil, structural steel, building envelope, mechanical / electrical, and building handover / completion.
