Allocator – US Retail: Become the Newest Member of Kontoor Brands The Allocator is responsible for maximizing the sales and profit through accurate and timely distributions of product to stores. Distributions are based on historical data, overall merchandise strategies developed by the merchant trend analysis and store capacity, adjacencies and profiling information. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain all store/product clusters as required by merchant team. Develop and execute allocation strategies for assigned departments for merchandise in accordance with communications from merchandising team. Monitor weekly all classification and style performance and adjust allocation strategy to maximize sales and inventory turn. Build appropriate inventory levels for new stores to achieve opening plan. Manage replenishment systems to ensure levels of merchandise at all stores that will maximize sales and inventory turn. Perform stock balancing and limited transfer recommendations as needed. Address all valid store level product concerns. Maintain pricing and promotions provided by merchant teams. Perform all other tasks as required by management to support the achievement of the financial plan. Skills for Success: Computer skills to include Excel, Power BI and all Microsoft applications Experience with Logility or other Allocation systems preferred and SAP Strong financial, analytical, and quantitative analysis acumen Adaptability/flexibility in a fast paced, dynamic business environment Ability to learn new systems and new processes quickly Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively Strong problem solving skills Strong interpersonal skills Experience/Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or equivalent combination of education and experience Previous experience in merchandising, forecasting, planning or inventory role preferred. Special Physical and/or Mental Requirements: Some travel required Willing and able to work additional hours when needed Bend, lift, open and move products and related office items varying in weight from 1 to 25 lbs., depending on need Location: The preferred location for this position is Greensboro Headquarters, however there is potential for the selected candidate to work remotely.
