Job Title: POS Lead Engineer
Pittsburgh, PA Remote
Fulltime
Must to have Skills : Oracle Retail Point of Service ( POS) or JumpMind
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Work very closely with product manager, Business Analyst, UX designer and architect to define technical product requirements and collaborate within agile teams to drive user story/tasks creation along with design and development activities.
- Design and develop products using Java, Spring Boot & Microservices
- Create and maintain necessary software design and relevant documentation.
- Participate in group sessions within developer community and share knowledge
- Effectively resolve problems and roadblocks as they occur, consistently following through details while driving innovation as well as issue resolution
- Must have worked on L2 /L3 Support roles
Skills required to contribute:
- 10 years of total IT experience with special focus on POS development.
- 8 years of experience with Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices
- Must be proficient in doing customization in ORPOS 1312
- Retail Domain experience Xstore POS
- Core Java experience
- Hands on in SOAP / REST WEB service
- Trouble shooting skill for analysing problem tickets / production issues
- Good knowledge of PostgreSQL, PubSub, Rabbit MQ
- Experience in GIT
- Cloud awareness Google Cloud Platform or AWS
- Good Communication skills
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
