Job Summary:

IT Manager – Supply Chain business applications, is responsible for the implementation and support of specific business applications. This role will have primary responsibility for the relationship between business users and technology. This position is expected to engage and deliver value as outlined by business requirements, including management of team members. Expectations included detailed understanding of SAP’s processes and configuration related to Supply Chain capabilities – including S/4 HANA Material Management, Purchasing/Procurement, Demand planning, Manufacturing, Quality Management, Inventory Management, Warehouse Operations and Logistics.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1.       Lead the Supply Chain functional team through build, testing, and deployment phases of SAP implementation.

a.       Collaborate with business process leader(s), consultant(s) and other functional and technical leads to develop planning, manufacturing, procurement and warehouse operations capabilities.

b.       Lead / Facilitate (with consultants) work-shops, design sessions and gap analysis based on requirements

c.       Gain commitment from multiple functional leaders simultaneously on design decisions.

d.       Understand and own configuration for PTP and adjacent business process.

e.       Manage other associates in configuration of other SAP capabilities.

f.        Develop functional specification, configuration documentation, testing scripts, etc., and other such project artifacts.

g.       Communicate targets, measures, and status.

2.       Validate and streamline business process for SAP

a.       Appropriately influence the business process leaders towards standard SAP

b.       Educate stakeholders and project team members on SAP functionality and best practices

c.       Ensure SAP functionality is leverage ahead of custom code

d.       Advocate for end-user adoption and improvements in usability.

3.       Coordinate business sign offs and deployment strategy

a.       Partner with business leaders to achieve alignment

b.       Meditate as defects and functionality are disputed

c.       Vet deficits and associate resolutions based on business value

d.       Develop a global template for SAP deployments

e.       Roll-out SAP by region/location. Etc.

4.       Stabilize business processes & leverage SAP investment

a.       Establish release strategy for support and projects

b.       Reduce “keep in lights on” efforts

c.       Support business process leads / member of the power user group to develop business cases.

d.       Understand the changing SAP landscape

e.       Develop roadmap of projects based on organizational needs

f. Evaluation technology products and appropriate methodologies.

Technical Skills:

5 years of SAP Experience; at least two full life-cycle S/4HANA implementation

3 years of MM, PP, QM

1 Years of EWM preferred

  1 years of ATP (Available to Promise) Optional
