Job Description

Kearney & Company is seeking a Budget Consultant to join our team at th Wing (AFDW) Bolling AFB supporting the Air Force! Duties include but are not limited to :

• Serve as a budget analyst in the installation's budget office, performing a variety of budget functions involving the formulation, execution, and / or analysis of budgets and economic and cost analysis studies for substantive programs and support activities.
• Support the development of programming and financial planning justification and documentation for inclusion into the wing financial plan.
• Perform budget formulation involving the preparation of detailed analyses of annual and / or multi-year budget estimates for assigned organizations / programs into a consolidated budget request.
• Perform budget execution and administration work involving the monitoring of obligations incurred and the actual expenditures of a budget with different sources and types of funding
• Provide advice, assistance, and guidance on budgeting and related information
• Conduct analyses, reviews, and special studies of budget and / or related information
• Use automated budgetary system(s) and computer-generated products in accomplishing budgeting assignments

Qualifications

Required Qualifications :

Minimum of 4 years of experience leading DOD resource management and budget actions POM development, MIPR execution, etc.

and executing organizational change management practices

• Willing to work on-site 5 days per week
• Ability to obtain and maintain an interim Secret security clearance (requires citizenship)

Preferred Qualifications :

• Experience with Air Force resource management and budget preferred
• Experience with Air Force Financial Systems or other Federal agency
