POSITION SUMMARY
Keelson Management’s Accounts Receivable & Billing Specialist position assists with customer billing, management of accounts receivable including customer (cash) payment applications, and customer inquiry and dispute resolution for all corporate entities managed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Responsible for customer (cash) payment applications in the correct period including both electronic payments and manual check receipts.
Assist with dispute resolutions by identifying and resolving customer dispute in Zendesk
Determine if the dispute is valid and where credits/rebills are required
Notate in Zendesk when a customer is contacted and what information is provided to the customer
Provide instructions according to billing clerks and communicate resolutions/decisions back to customer
Resolve discrepancies between payment remittance and outstanding invoices
Update daily check log of all payment amounts received and provide explanation of short paid or overpayments
Update a payment remittance log to include all invoices paid by the customer and a payment remit for a particular payment in the system
Responsible for billing review to ensure all invoices and support are accurate before distribution to customers
Update invoices review log each time an invoice is approved, daily
Collaborate with Billing Supervisor on all accounts receivable and collections activities
Requirements

Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft products
Ability to work closely with and build strong work relationships with vendors and internal customers
Strong documentation skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Problem solving skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
Able to work in a fast-paced work environment
Be ready and willing to learn
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s or associate degree in Business Administration preferred
High school diploma or equivalent required
2 years of related experience required.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time
Work is performed in an office environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Must have the ability to walk short distances, lift and small carry parcels, packages and other items
