Keenan specializes in providing consulting services in the areas of: employee benefits, workers' compensation, loss control, financial, and property & liability.
Overview
Assist Service Analyst, Account Executive and Sales Executive with internal procedures. Limited field service responsibility.
What You'll Do
- Assist with installation of new cases.
- Complete administrative requirements for carrier.
- Proof booklets, Summary Benefits of Coverage, and master contracts.
- Preparation of communication and other enrollment materials.
- Assist with preparation of ICM packets and JPA agendas and minutes and attend in needed.
- Assist in coordination of open enrollment meetings and health fairs and attend if needed.
- Resolution of claim, billing, and eligibility issues; including creating and tracking Activity Logs in BenefitPoint.
- Maintain BenefitPoint on existing customers ensuring all plans/rates are current/reviewed following the established data standards and rate versioning process.
- Process renewals in conjunction with the Account Executive and Service Analyst and follow BenefitPoint procedures.
- Maintain Renewal Status Report.
- Obtain premium and claim reports for experience-rated cases.
- Maintain G drive and audit as assigned.
- Distribute Quarterly Wellness Newsletters, Briefings, and Bi-annual client reminders (waiver of premium, age reduction, beneficiary updates and life events).
- Prepare required Service reports.
- Schedule client appointments when required.
- Exhibit excellent communication skills with clients, carriers, and other Keenan staff.
- Willingness to develop full-service responsibility for assigned clients.
- Be sensitive to the proprietary nature of information relating solely to Keenan & Associates’ clients, policies, etc., and be responsible for not divulging this information to anyone without a need to know.
- All other duties as assigned.
What You'll Need
- Minimum of two (2) years’ group insurance experience required.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills; ability to multitask; ability to work under pressure and with minimum supervision.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Word, and Outlook; accurate and detail oriented; math aptitude; flexible attitude and hours; ability to travel.
- Life and Disability license preferred or must be willing to obtain within one (1) year of hire.
- Willingness to participate in continuing education programs (preferably group-insurance related).

Compensation:
The target salary range for this position is $65,000.00 to $75,000.00 (US Dollar) annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant’s geographic location. Remote work environment flexibility but candidate must reside in Northern California.
