The Marketing Intern is a part-time, internship role and reports to the Marketing Communications Specialist. Primarily, this position will be responsible for assisting with the digital marketing and support functions of the department. The Marketing Intern and will create social media posts to reflect target audiences, assist with video production, and support the operational needs of the department as directed. This position requires strong professional writing and communication skills as well as the ability to use social media to facilitate the Firm’s marketing goals. This position supports the department’s administrative and tactical functions and serves as a back-up to the Department as needed/desired. The Intern may also assist by helping to coordinate Firm-events and prepare materials. This position uses critical thinking skills to trouble-shoot problems and contact the necessary people to provide solutions. This position requires a high level of detail and must have the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. This position requires a high level of professionalism as it requires constant communication with internal and external clients.

- Support the Firm’s social media activity and video production
- Assist with digital marketing campaign efforts
- Develop and coordinate the execution of suggested blog post topics based on research of organic search topics
- Assist with capturing Firm events with photographs and documentation for historical and social media purposes
- Assist with the design of artwork for video, advertising, web, print, and other media outlets, as needed
- Assist with researching to help keep Firm apprised of client activities and identify ways to promote via social media
- Utilize repository of firm graphics with proper formats for various uses
- Assist with the updates to client database to maintain good communications, as needed
- Be able to occasionally lift and carry packages and materials of 25 lbs. (usually promotional material or event materials)
- Contribute to a positive work environment by supporting teammates and the Firm’s organizational goals
- Ability to meet assignment deadlines
- Possess the ability to work independently and with a variety of people from all levels of the organization
- Ability to handle multiple projects at once
