Job Title: Tier I Custodian
Location: We offer employment opportunities in various locations throughout MICHIGAN
Shift: 5AM-11:30 (Tues-Sat) OR 3PM-7PM (Thurs-Sun)
KBS Services is looking for Tier I Custodians to join our team to clean, sanitize, and maintain common areas and offices. The ideal person for this position has experience, enjoys working individually or on occasion as a team, is well-spoken, energetic, and personable.
Responsibilities:
- Clean – Perform general cleaning and sanitizing tasks throughout the assigned property. Clean and disinfect restrooms. Wipe and dust surfaces in fitting rooms and clean all mirrors. Vacuum, mop, dustmop and sweep floors. Remove trash and replace liners throughout location. May be required and trained to utilize machinery (ex. Side-to-side floor buffer and carpet extractor, etc.).
- Stock – Stock all hand towels, toilet paper, and hand soap in bathrooms.
- Other – Respond to calls for custodial services throughout shift. If applicable, notify maintenance if something is not working correctly.
Requirements:
- Be reliable and punctual for shift
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds at times
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and reach, bend, lift and pull
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen upon employment
