As a Human Resource Generalist/Crew Scheduler you’ll collaborate with many diverse people and perspectives. We’ll lean on you to leverage your attention to detail and multitasking skills to strategize on operating plans and impact the bottom line with forward-thinking. Excited for what lies ahead? HERE'S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Data Driven – You’ll report on HR metrics as needed, performing personnel file maintenance, and administering leaves of absence.
- Drive Efficiency – We want the facility to operate at peak efficiency, so you’ll contribute to efficient operations and maintain labor relations by accurately scheduling employees according to the plant’s collective bargaining agreements.
- Collaboration is Key – You’ll have the chance to be “hands on” by partnering with Shift Operations to process production paperwork, conduct investigations, issue attendance disciplines, and research grievances and complaints.
- Set the Pace – Getting new employees off to a great start sets the pace. You’ll prepare training materials and maintain documentation for new hire orientations, safety training, and job-specific training.
YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
- Proven strong ability to use independent critical thinking and decision making
- Demonstrated commitment to customer service and needs of the business
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Effective organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work nights and weekends
- Previous experience in a Human Resources environment
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills – primarily Excel, Word and PowerPoint
