What are the responsibilities and job description for the Merchandiser position at Kellogg Supply, Inc?
Kellogg Garden Products, a family-owned and operated company with roots that span over four generations is seeking seasonal Merchandiser.
In this role you will:
- Service product home locations, building and stocking displays, and cleaning products
- Manage inventories, meeting with store management, and helping to answer general gardening questions for store personnel and consumers
- Work in an assigned Home Depot stores during peak selling seasons
- Assist customers with their soil selection
- Promote Kellogg branded products
Job Requirements:
- Outdoor work environment
- Ability to proactively and effectively communicate with customers and store personnel
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, climb and lift heavy objects weighing 50 lbs. or more consistently
- Must have a personal smartphone (Android 4.0 and up or iPhone 9.0 or later) with data
- Reliable vehicle
- Valid driver’s license
- Proof of car insurance
- Clean driving record
Employment/Schedule/Hours:
- Seasonal (February-June)
- Weekdays (Monday-Friday)
- 30 Hours
Education & Experience:
- High School diploma or GED
- 1 to 2 years previous sales or retail experience
- Garden experience is preferred but not required
