Typical day as a Forklift Operator:
- Understand and comply with all Bay Island policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Report any unsafe conditions or damage that occurs while on duty.
- Accurately receive inbound shipments using equipment and by hand
- Sort cargo received by lot code (or by specific instruction) and store in proper location.
- Accurately ship to customers using equipment and by hand
- Assist in various warehouse maintenance tasks, including sweeping floors, storing equipment, etc.
- Pick orders for shipment and production.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
What kind of experience do you need to succeed as a Forklift Operator?
- 1 years of sit-down forklift experience
- Ability to lift or move up to 50 lbs regularly
- Have self-motivation, attention to detail, multitasking skills
