Kelly is hiring a Biocompatibility Analyst for one of our medical device clients in San Clemente, California
- Pay:$30-$40/hr
- 6 month contract (May be extended or converted)
- 1st shift 8am-5pm
Looking for:
1. Direct experience of Biocompatibility testing of class II or III medical devices per ISO 10993 – 1
2. Experience in conducting risk assessment per ISO 10993 – 1
3. Experience authoring “Biocompatibility Evaluation Reports”
Biocompatibility Analyst
Position Summary:
Biocompatibility Analyst – I (R&D Contractor) will work under the direct supervision of Biocompatibility specialist &/or Senior Engineer. Biocompatibility Analyst – I will support documenting and organizing existing test data and reports for data integration. As required, Biocompatibility Analyst - I may be cross-trained to support testing, including wet chemistry analyses, preparation of reagents, standardization of solutions, instrumentation testing and documentation in a cGMP environment.
- Organize test summary reports for database integration
- Evaluate analytical data to determine compliance with established specifications
- Complete accurate data entry
- Prepare test samples and standard solutions for analytical and biocompatibility testing
- Provide support in the execution of technical studies and laboratory investigations
- Adhere to cGMP/GLP practices, SOP's, and company policies/guidelines.
- Work on special projects as they arise.
- Must be able to use Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, and Share Point) and Adobe
- Must be able to use mathematics to solve routine problems and manipulate algebraic equations.
- Must be able to apply standard scientific principles, methods, and techniques to trouble-shoot and resolve common analytical and technical problems.
- Must be detail-oriented, self-directed, and demonstrate good organizational and time management skills.
- AS (Associate Degree in Science) (Biology, Chemistry, Material Science, or related field preferred) or in-process coursework pursuing Bachelor of Science degree in engineering or related scientific field
- 1- 2 Year experience in the Medical Device Industry is preferred
- Experience in scientific report writing is preferred
