• $25 to $30 per hour
• Hybrid role – will be working 2 days onsite, 3 days from home

Please Note: Candidates must be local to Bridgewater, NJ. to be considered.

What’s a typical day as a Cash Applications Analyst? You’ll be:

• Download and save the daily cash activity from bank portals
• Apply and post AR payments to customer accounts and Non-AR cash receipts to GL
• Create batches for EFT, Wires, ACHs, and Checks payments, obtain remittances for each payment and applying accordingly
• Monitor & obtain remittances that are emailed to Credit Department
• Obtain access to customer web portals to download remittances, where available
• Interact with other departments (Credit, Finance, Treasury) to identify payments, changes to bank accounts, coding, EDI activity and other issues
• Identify exceptions and determine how to apply them. Includes the creation of new items for deductions, paybacks, creating on-account payments, coding deductions
• Identify & resolve issues with bank feeds and/or system related errors
• Assist in month-end process as needed
• Assist in acquisition activities related to cash app as needed
• Assist in SOX audit support as needed
• Assist in system enhancement/conversion testing as needed
• Provide check images and backup to credit analyst upon request
• Responsible for correcting incorrectly applied payments upon request from credit analyst

This job might be an outstanding fit if you have the following qualifications/skills:

• High School Diploma (plus some college preferred)

• 2 plus years of experience in Cash Application
• Strong Excel skills including pivot tables and vlookup
• System savvy
• Familiar with SOX guidelines and procedures preferred

Necessary Skills

• Able to work in fast-paced environment and manage high volume of cash receipts
• Sound judgment with exceptional problem-solving skills
• Proficient and accurate in keying numbers
• Strong analytical/multi-tasking skills
• Flexible and able to adapt with change
• Organized and works well under pressure
• Ability to work with and effectively communicate with all levels of Management
• Pharmaceutical and/or retail manufacturing experience preferred
