This position will be responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of estimates for project bids and proposals and will also be involved in the day-to-day activities of construction

This is an office/field position

This job might be a fit for you if you have:

• Strong prioritization and organizational skills; detail-oriented.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft programs such as Excel and Word.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Hard Dollar and Scheduling experience is strongly preferred.
• Additional working knowledge preferred but not required: Bluebeam, Auto Cad, Topcon, Microstation.
• Good working knowledge of civil construction techniques and production rates.
• Knowledge of construction sequencing for schedule development.
• Flexibility with relocation for assigned projects.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Estimator working in all aspects of large heavy civil construction projects (Structures, Bridges, Railroad, Piles, Underground Utilities, Site Stabilization, Earthwork and Concrete Paving)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering Construction Workeragement or similar discipline is preferred.
• Field operations experience is strongly preferred.
