Kelly Government Solutions is seeking a Finance Manager to spearhead the Finance department and ensure overall financial health of the organization. Reporting to the VP of Finance, you'll lead a team of accounting specialists and manage all aspects of our financial operations, including grants, contracts, and subcontractor oversight. This role is 100% onsite.
The salary range for this role is $80-95 a year.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable and receivable transactions
- Process bi-weekly payroll and confirm payroll tax payments
- Prepare monthly financial statement analyses for management reporting
- Generate, maintain, and reconcile complex journal entries
- Create monthly account reconciliations and analyze discrepancies
- Prepare month-end financial close to support the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing process
- Collaborate with VP of Finance to prepare reports and diligence for management
- Organize and review financial data and report it in a clear and understandable manner
- Collaborate with external auditors and provide necessary information for annual audits
- Establish and maintain relationships with vendors
- Analyze workflow processes and implement internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP
- Process and provide information for annual tax filings
- Ad-hoc reporting and special projects as requested
- Assist Program Managers with financial and contractual aspects of contract execution
- Partner with Operations to control procurement processing
- Manage and track payments of monthly reporting and invoices
- Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with contractual obligations
- Assist with end-of-year financial processes, including federal and state tax filings and DCAA Incurred Cost Proposal
- Oversee contracts, including processing modifications and maintaining company registration with government systems
- Research, advise, and implement necessary policies or processes to ensure contract compliance
- Prepare documents and lead government financial audits
- Oversee subcontracting, including drafting and maintaining subcontract agreements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, or related field
- 4 years of experience in U.S. DoD contract or financial administration
- Proficient in Quickbooks, NetSuite, Microsoft Office, and USG financial reporting systems (IPP, WAWF, eBrap)
- Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
- In-depth experience with month-end account reconciliations, General Ledger, Trial Balance, and journal entries
- Familiarity with financial statement preparation
- Working knowledge of spreadsheets and databases
- Demonstrated ability to follow standard procedures and take initiative
- Recent and relevant accounting experience
- Self-starter with efficient time management and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize workload and adapt to quick changes
- Must be a U.S. citizen
- Experience leading a financial audit
- Experience with research contracts (SBIR, BAA)
- Experience with Unanet, Deltek, or other DCAA compliant accounting systems
