Kelly has a long standing relationship with our client. STERIS is a global manufacturer servicing the medical industry. STERIS is a leading provider of infection prevention and procedural products and services, focused primarily on the critical markets of healthcare, pharmaceutical and research and medical devices.
This role is a contract assignment with Kelly with working hours of 8am-5pm onsite
(*flexibility desired, potential need for earlier/later meetings as office opens up to more traffic)
Essential Functions
1. Greet and register visitors (utilizing Passage Point System) and advise appropriate employee of Customers, visitors and contractor’s arrival.
2. Provide safety awareness briefing to incoming Customers, visitors and contractors through the safety video, evacuation procedures and briefing materials.
3. Brief Customers and visitors regarding the corporation’s Visitor and Contractor Policies, Facility and Safety awareness.
4. Ensure the entire lobby area is always organized, neat and efficient.
5. Train new lobby relief employees as required on appropriate lobby activities and procedures.
6. Provide administrative and coordinator assistance to Global Facilities and Real Estate, and Customer Solutions Center employees. This would include proficiency with Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, Excel, applications.
7. Assist with research and record units of measure for the Greenhouse Gas Tracking project for facilities to support facilities team HSE and other business groups
8. Support and coordinate the Evacuation Accountability Documentation for Facilities department and HSE.
9. Assit with publishing and management of Global Facilities and Real Estate data and content creation for documentation and storage on share drives and internal STERIS Global Facilities and Real Estate intranet site.
10. Support and coordinate data and information with shared management duties for Global Records Retention under Global Facilities and Real Estate.
11. Create training material and videos to support training of employees on a global basis that must provide data for Global Records Retention.
12. Manage and coordinate maintenance work order system via use of self or department developed and managed web tools.
Skills/Background
1. High school diploma or GED is required
2. 3 years of customer service experience is required
1. This position may require additional or special hours based on scheduled events.
2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
3. Excellent problem solving skills and judgment.
4. A self-starter and ability to managing numerous tasks at the same time independently.
5. Strong organization and planning skills as well as attention to detail
6. Ability to adapt quickly to changing schedules, needs and requirements of CSC Customers, guests, and contractors.
7. Demonstrates a professional and positive approach in all interactions (Customers, employees, vendors suppliers)
8. Understands, enjoys and is comfortable and confident working with various types of technology – including Microsoft Integration, IT Platforms and security equipment.
9. Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
10. Strong sense for fiscal responsibility.
